Professional Investment Advice

When Jean-Baptiste Colbert became France’s Minister of Finance in 1661, he inherited a disorganized, poorly managed economy. Radical changes in administration, business and finance instituted during his tenure resulted in dramatic improvements in French government revenues.
Mr. Colbert’s wise management of Louis XIV’s investments enabled the latter to finance projects on a grand scale. The "Roi Soleil" even moved into a nicer "house" – Versailles – in 1682. The successes of "Colbertism" outshine by far its failures.
Likewise our clients come to us with investment portfolios in need of reform. We take a very disciplined approach to achieve realistic, long-term goals.
First, we carefully review each client’s risk profile, performance objective and investment experience. Second, we rigorously monitor world markets for opportunities which would deliver superior long-term rewards, searching for assets (bonds or stocks) selling at low prices compared to our estimate of their intrinsic value.
By thinking clearly at the worst moment, looking for bargains, we avoid being a bond - or stock - market victim. Finally, we act as a central guidance agency. One that is decisive in rendering investment advice. Personal preparation, knowledge, research are our tools.
